Notice regarding membership fee

March 4th, 2014

We would like to inform you that despite the fact that contributions had been unmodified for 10 years, the Board of the Valsè Pantellini Foundation has decided to increase its membership fees as of 1 January 2014 in order to sustain the increasing burden of expenditure in both (extra)ordinary administration and management costs, as well as the development of its research projects.
Having no other economic resources than those related to the membership fees payment, the Board has decided to increase the regular annual contribution from 150 to 200 euros, and the reduced annual contribution from 75 to 100 euros.
We apologize in advance for the inevitable inconvenience that might be created by this decision in these generally difficult economic times. The staff of the Foundation will remain, as always, fully available for its members and anyone else wishing to have more information on this or on other questions.

Important research results published in ‘Anticancer Research’ Journal

July 24th, 2012

We have added a link to PubMed to our section ‘Learn more – publications’ that leads to the (free) abstract of a recent reseach done by doctors Anichini C, Rizzo C, Longini M, Bartolo RM, Proietti F and Buonocore G of the Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine Department of the University of Siena. Together with Dr. Guido Paoli from the Pantellini Foundation, this group conducted a research on the Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, a rare disease with oncological risk that especially affects children, and reported their results after a treatment consisting of the intake of potassium ascorbate with ribose.
This work has been of considerable importance because it is the first time that the Pantellini method has officially been used for the treatment of this type of fairly serious diseases. It is also a step forwards in increasing visibility and scientific accredibility to the intuitions or our dear Dr. Gianfrancesco Valsè Pantellini. The research has been accepted and published by the ‘Anticancer Research’ Journal; the complete work is therefore not available for free (free abstract only).
Please feel free to spread this news to interested parties.

Research published in ‘Cancer Cell International’ Journal

July 24th, 2012

We have added a recent research to our section ‘Learn more – publications’ conducted by doctors Simonetta Croci, Luca Bruni, Simona Bussolati, Marianna Castaldo and Maurizio Dondi of the University of Parma. Dr. Luca Bruni is a ‘fellow’ of the Valsè Pantellini Foundation for scientific collaboration as decided with the National Institute of Biostructures and Biosystems (INBB) in Rome at the end of June 2008. This important research highlights the combined action of ribose and potassium in inhibiting the growth of cancer cells in both dogs and humans, in particular in the case of breast cancer. The research has been accepted and published in the International Journal ‘Cancer Cell International’ and is also completely available on the website of the Journal.

Concern over radioactive cloud Fukushima

July 24th, 2012

Given the growing concern over the population of Fukushima following the news on the radioactive cloud escaping from the nuclear power plant, and the fear that it would also pass over Italy, we will open a section devoted to this topic in the next few days.
At this moment there is no preoccupying data. We recommend taking potassium ascorbate daily (as indicated in the corresponding section on Prevention) and regularly using iodized salt.
Pills/tablets of potassium iodide do NOT have to be taken. These pills/tablets only have to be taken if really necessary and in case of a certain exposure to iodine 131.
